About the project

Both, Indian and German students, will work on the topic Wait till you waste. As described above, it is a topic which we consider highly important and we know, so will the students. We expect them to share a great motivation for it.

Both schools will profit from this topic concerning the following learning goals:

  • Students in both the countries will during their visits learn about the various ways they can re-use the waste material, waste minimization and creation of energy.
  •  They will learn about the global connection of the matter and that it demands a global cooperation to resolve it.
  • The will develop ideas of environmental sustainability in a throwaway society and they will think about their own part in it. They will come up with new ideas what they as individuals can do.
  • The students will be curious to form a relationship towards each other which inspires school life and school innovation in both schools.
  • The individual student will be inspired to seek further relationships not only in India, but worldwide. Communicating to people across borders might become his wish in the world of jobs when he is older.
  • The students will gain a higher motivation to learn the foreign languages English and German. They will improve their language skills and practice them in an authentic arrangement.
  • * The students will learn to appreciate the other culture and mentality and they will see what we have in common although there are differences in lifestyle, religion, habits etc.
  • The students will improve IT-skills communicating and working via internet, on the moodle platform etc.
  • As there will be a documentary film as a product of the project, they will learn how to do research, how to transform information and how to present them with the means of film.
